About the Courthouse Community Centre
Tulla Courthouse Community Centre is run by a group of volunteers. Tulla Courthouse Community Development is a registered charity which was established in 2005 in order to lease the building from Clare County Council. Annual accounts are audited and a return is made each year to the Charities Regulator.

Committee members: Brian Torpey, Joan McNamara, Mary Stack, Dana Verhagen, Kees Dusan, Pat Talty, Patricia McNamara. There are a number of sub-committees which work on specific tasks and events, such as building works and events. These groups can co-opt non committee members to work with them. We have one person employed in the office for 20 hours per week on an RSS scheme, Mary Dinan. Her tasks involve maintenance, cleaning and preparation of the courthouse for events as well as taking bookings.
